Stepien Rule is a private site for the members of one friends’ fantasy basketball keeper league. It is run by the league’s commissioners, not a company. This page says what the site keeps about you and why.

What we collect

Visiting the public homepage without signing in collects nothing beyond the standard request logs our host keeps.

How we use it

We do not sell your information, show ads, run third-party analytics or tracking scripts, or use your information for anything outside the league.

Who can see it

League data is visible only to signed-in league members. Your team, your trades and your profile details can be read by the other members and the commissioners. Your feedback is seen by you and the commissioners. The record of which pages you open and which to-dos you tick is seen only by the site owner (Lyle). Nobody outside the league can read any of it.

Services that process it for us

These providers may process data in the United States and the European Union.

Cookies and browser storage

The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. When you sign in, your session is kept in your browser’s local storage until you sign out.

Keeping and deleting

We keep your details while you are a league member, and the page-visit record for a year. Trades stay in the league record afterwards, as they are part of its history. To see, correct or remove your information, email admin@stepienrule.com and a commissioner will take care of it.

Other services

The league’s rosters and games are run on Yahoo Fantasy, under Yahoo’s own terms and privacy policy. Stepien Rule is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by Yahoo or the NBA.

Changes

If this page changes in a way that matters, we will tell league members and update the date above.
